National Convention 2026
Bonjour
French for “hello and good morning,” Bonjour is a guided time with the Lord. We encourage you to prioritize this devotional each morning for this personal refreshment. Each section begins with a message for your reflection, followed by several readings from Scripture that help you study who God is and what He has done for you. Get comfortable with your own Bible as you consider the context of each passage, and leave plenty of time to think through the questions at the bottom and write down your responses. Conclude Bonjour by praying for God’s guidance and gracious help.
May the Word of God continue to shape your heart and mind as you further understand, respond to, and delight in beholding the glory of the Lord.
THEME INTRO
This year’s event theme is ABIDE. In a restless and distracted age, Christ calls His people not merely to admire Him from a distance, but to remain in Him. Jesus declared, “I am the true vine,” revealing that all true life, joy, strength, and fruitfulness flow from union with Him. Apart from Christ there is no lasting life, no enduring peace, and no eternal hope. Yet through the gospel, sinners are reconciled to God and invited into living fellowship with the Son through faith.
To abide in Christ is more than outward religion, emotional experience, or cultural Christianity. It is to know Him through His Word, walk with Him by faith, depend upon Him daily, and remain steadfast in Him through every season of life. As branches draw life from the vine, so followers of Jesus are sustained by communion with Christ through the Spirit. In a world marked by confusion, compromise, isolation, and instability, Christ calls His people to remain rooted in what is eternal and true.
Throughout this week at NatCon26, we will consider what it means to abide: beginning with genuine union with Christ, growing through the truth of His Word, being transformed through sanctification, bearing fruit through faithful obedience, and persevering to the end with enduring faith. May the Lord use this week to deepen our love for Christ, strengthen our confidence in His gospel, and cause us to abide in Him with joyful perseverance.
