TUESDAY — THE BEGINNING
● Pray:
Father, You are the giver of life and the source of every good thing. Though sin has separated us from You, You have lovingly sent Your Son to seek and save the lost. Open my eyes to see Christ clearly and to understand that true life is found only in Him. Guard me from empty religion, outward appearance, and false assurance. By Your Spirit, draw me to genuine repentance and abiding faith, that I may remain in Christ and bear lasting fruit.
● Read:
John 15:1–11
John 3:16–21
1 John 5:11–13
Ephesians 2:1–10
● Reflect:
What does Jesus mean when He says, “apart from me you can do nothing”? Have you truly come to Christ in repentance and faith, or have you merely been around Christian things? What desires tempt you to find life outside of Christ? What would it look like for you not simply to know about Jesus, but to genuinely abide in Him?
● Respond:
Praise God for His mercy toward sinners and for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Confess where you have sought identity, purpose, or satisfaction apart from Him. Thank the Lord that salvation is by grace through faith and not by your own works. Ask God to deepen your love for Christ and cause your life to remain firmly rooted in Him.
